Sisu 2023 Registration Begins: Dates, Eligibility, and How to Apply

Registration Period:

Sisu 2023 registration will open on February 16, 2023, at 6:00 PM (Brasília time) and will remain open until February 24, 2023, at 11:59 PM (Brasília time).

Eligibility:

To be eligible for Sisu 2023, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Have participated in the 2022 or 2023 edition of the National High School Examination (Enem) and obtained a non-zero score in all core subjects (Math, Portuguese Language and Literature, Natural Sciences, and Human Sciences).
Have obtained a minimum score of 450 points on the Enem Portuguese Language and Literature test and 450 points on the Enem Math test.
Not have already completed a higher education degree.

Application Process:

To apply for Sisu 2023, candidates must follow these steps:

Visit the Sisu website: https://sisu.mec.gov.br
Click on the "Login" button in the top right corner of the page.
Enter your CPF (Cadastro de Pessoas Físicas) number and password. If you do not have an account, click on "Create an Account" and follow the instructions to create one.
Once logged in, click on the "Participate" button on the left side of the page.
Select the courses and universities you wish to apply for. You can select up to two courses at each university.
Review your selections and confirm your application.

Selection Process:

The selection of candidates for Sisu 2023 will be based on their Enem scores. Candidates with the highest scores will be placed in the course of their choice until all available vacancies are filled.

Waiting List:

If a candidate is not selected for their first-choice course, they will be placed on the waiting list. Candidates on the waiting list may be selected for admission if vacancies become available due to cancellations or withdrawals.

Important Dates:

February 16-24, 2023: Sisu 2023 registration period
February 28, 2023: Results of the first call announced
March 1-8, 2023: Registration for the waiting list
March 21, 2023: Results of the waiting list announced

Additional Information:

Candidates can apply for Sisu 2023 multiple times during the registration period. However, only their last application will be considered for selection.
Candidates can change their course and university selections up until the final day of the registration period.
Admission to Sisu 2023 does not guarantee a scholarship. Candidates must apply for scholarships separately through the university's own process.
